Can't let her go

 

Xander’s POV

 

A smile graced my lips as Ellie laughed at a joke Mason cracked. She was so cute and yet so elegantly beautiful. Ellie was nowhere near fake.

She was real.

And she was awesome.

It all might have started as my obsession of trying to keep her by my side and away from Ace but now it was turning into something bigger and something much better.

“Xander, why aren’t you eating your food?” Ellie asked, bringing me out of the trance. I shook my head and looked down at my untouched food.

“The pasta isn’t bad. It’s actually good today.” Liam told me. I nodded as I took a bite. The food was surprisingly good for cafeteria food.

“What happened, Xan? Why aren’t you saying something today?” Ellie asked me. I turned to see concern in her beautiful green eyes.

“I was just thinking.” I told her with a smile. She frowned at that. She looked so damn adorable with the frown.
