Ellie got accepted

 

I kicked Xander on his leg under the table to get his attention. But like the last ten times, he ignored me as he continued to burn holes in Ace’s face. I could see that Xander’s glare wasn’t making Ace uncomfortable. Ace was amused.

“Xander? Why aren’t you eating anything, honey?” My mother questioned with a concerned face. “Is the food that bad?” My mother gasped.

“No, Mrs A. The food is amazing as usual. You can never cook anything bad.” Xander told my mother with a smile as he looked at her.

“Then why aren’t you eating anything, sweetheart?” My mother asked curiously.

“It’s just that I saw something puke-worthy and I lost my appetite.” Xander shrugged. I kicked his leg as hard as I could under the table as I shot him a deadly glare. I knew very well what that puke-worthy thing was.

Xander narrowed his eyes at me. He was clearly not very happy. How could he when Ace was here? And now that Ace was sitting right next to me where Xander usually sat during family dinner
