The next day, Eve walked down the stairs, yawning. Her eyes wandered around the living room. Ethan was nowhere to be found. Great.

She headed out to the servants' quarters and met Elena on the way.

"Do you need anything, Eve? It's not yet lunchtime, but I can cook up a fast meal if you're hungry again."
