James did not speak, falling into a long silence. His eyes closed as he let out a deep sigh. "I am doing this for your own good."

"I know, but they didn't actually do anything wrong. On the contrary, they were very conscientious, weren't they? Anyway, you're not allowed to fire them."

Summer felt a surge of anger in her heart and reprimanded him when noticing that her advice fell on deaf ears.

Summer's words shocked everyone present.

Virtually no one in the company would dare to speak harshly to James.

Summer not only spoke to him in a very arrogant and domineering manner, but she even used a commanding tone to stop him from firing the people.
