Chapter 23

Artemis' POV

"Where the fuck are you going now, Artemis?" he said angrily when I stood up. He grabbed my wrist. I looked at that while my forehead was deeply wrinkled now.

"Oh, away from someone annoying like you, I don't have time to think about your pleasing attitude," I said sarcastically. I removed his hand from me. Even though his hand was bigger and could easily cover my wrist, it was easy for me to remove it. If he is strong, so am I.

I'm just left straight away. I just went to the playground here at the Palais because that's the place that I can call Athena. See? The Palais is so big that it can be a barangay. Well, there are actually a lot of people who live here.

I called Athena after I sat down.

"Why did you call so late, Mama?" she complained immediately when she answered from the other line. It seems that she has been waiting with his Uncle Ares' cell phone for a while now. I bit my lip hard.
