The remaining part of the afternoon was devoted to engaging in a game of Monopoly alongside my daughters. Once we departed from Jane's place, we made a stop at a Chicke store, where we indulged in a delectable assortment of crispy drumsticks, French fries, and sodas.

Despite my earnest attempts to immerse myself in the game and entertain my girls, my thoughts incessantly veer towards Noah, compelling me to repeatedly glance at my phone in anticipation of a call or text message. Why hasn't he returned my call?
