Chapter 99

What was I going to do at my own bachelorette party? I had no idea. We then shifted to more important matters. My dress had arrived yesterday and was locked in my closet. I had made sure Jasper wouldn't catch a glimpse of it; I wanted him to see it for the first time on our wedding day.

"Mom," I asked, "is your dress ready?"

"Yes, Declan called me in for a fitting yesterday. He's such a sweetheart, and the dress fits perfectly!"

"I'm glad," I replied.

Finally, everyone left, and all the arrangements were made. I was thrilled and could hardly eat in anticipation.

Jasper had been working tirelessly on his new project, and it was finally time for him to come home. I felt an immense sense of pride watching him become more responsible and mature with each passing day. As I sat watching TV, Jasper walked through the door and greeted me with a warm kiss on the head.
