Chapter Thirty Three
As the faint rays poured into the bedroom, her eyes flickered open, and she rolled onto her back. In the haze of sleep, Lucian’s lavish bedroom with the golden canopy bed came into focus, and she propped herself up on her elbows and searched for him.
With a sigh, she slumped into his warm bed. She had always imagined the morning after coupling would be the best, but he was already gone, and she felt a little disappointed. Maybe it had something to do with her lack of experience sexually.
After a grunt, Elyssa ran her fingers through her hair and propped up as soon as the door opened. Lucian stepped in with only low-hanging pants, his sweet smile spreading across his face as his amber eyes met hers.
