S2.217 She Doesn't Care

The clear-sounding footsteps were very familiar to Denise. It was the sound of her mother's footsteps. The woman who gave birth to her was indeed fond of high-heeled shoes.

Denise immediately turned to the woman and hoped her mother would help her.

"Mother, please help me," Denise begged, showing a pitiful face.

Sylvia glanced briefly at the two children around her son. The two boys turned pale and looked down, not wanting to meet the scantily clad woman's eyes. But what happened next was entirely unexpected.

"Denise, why are you still here? We'll be late! Why did you stop here so long?" Sylvia asked in a high tone.

Sylvia didn't seem to care about Denise's words at that time. He immediately pulled his son's hand without caring about what happened to his son.

"Mother, I didn't mean to slow down, but they suddenly came and asked why I was leaving. I said that Mom had to follow me because there was an urgent activity, but they didn't listen to me and still bullied me," Denise explained.
