I felt someone slid in beside me. I didn’t move, just kept staring out the window, that is until I heard the tell tail sounds of someone sniffing me. I stiffen my shoulder in disbelief as I lean my head down a little and sniff myself. I don’t smell anything but the dial soap I used when showering this morning. I lean back a little towards the seat as I glance over my shoulder. I stiffened once more as I swing my head back to the window. My heart thudding in my chest as I feel my hands sweat, my breaths coming quick. I hold my chest hoping that my heart doesn’t beat out of it. Elijah is sitting so close to me that our legs are plastered together. This is going to be one hell of a long ride to the lake house.
