On Shawn’s end, a few days ago…
Aldridge gave him permission to go see his family because he needed a rest from Shawn who just wanted to devour him endlessly.
Shawn was not particularly pleased because he enjoyed his time being free and in the company of someone he saw as his saviour to the point where he had forgotten that he wanted to see his family members.
He reluctantly left on a horse with a journeyman's pass and headed to the countryside where he knew his family had moved to after he was arrested but he just couldn't shake the feeling off that he shouldn't have left Aldridge behind.
