Aurielle heaved as she ran through the forest.
“Get her!!” Men screamed in the distance as they ran after her with torches and garden forks in their hands.
She climbed over fallen trees, boulders and made it to the waterfall. Looking back she could see the torches then turned back to the waterfall and the gushing sound of the water falling frightened her. She took in a deep breath and jumped off of the cliff into the water but just as she thought she was safe, her head banged against a rock ending her life.
