Shawn sat with his son in his arms as he looked at Aldridge who was sitting in a rocking chair.

Shawn smiled, “I’ve just been thinking, when an Earl or Duke marries a woman and she gives him a child, they give their wives a reward, usually money but here I am and I cannot afford to give you anything.”
