Chapter 32 - Elijah
I had barely paid attention to class. My mind was too focused on Riko and how Forrest made a valid point. We still didn’t know what had bothered our girl. At the same time, I don’t regret for a minute what happened. It got her mind off what was bothering her. It also showed her what the intimate part of our relationship would be like.
But now we need to make sure everything’s okay. If something has Riko upset, I want us to know about it. We can’t help her if we don’t know what’s wrong. This relationship can’t just be about the physical stuff.
Those are always doomed to fail, and I refuse to let this fail. I like Riko too much for that. And I know my brothers do too. She’s different from any girl we’ve dated individually. So I kicked off the text questioning.
Elijah: Cupcake, sorry we’re horny a-holes.
Forrest: Way to throw us under the bus bro

I still can’t believe what a colossal prick her dad is. What kind of father would think that way, let alone speak such things to their daughter? Granted, I can’t say for sure how my parents will take this. Dad does have the occasional tendency of being a stuck-up prat like many other Frosts. Mom is also a wild card. I was getting antsy after Forrest said he was going to tell dad about Riko. I know we need to tell them about her. She’s not some secret. Our relationship with her isn’t something we are ashamed of.
