Without waiting for their reaction, Ithel continued, "hand him over to me and we shall take our leave."

"There shall be no such handover," Mr Cook stood forward with his hands behind his back.

"Yes, he speaks the truth." The official stood beside Mr Cook. "You bandits have terrorised our town for many years. We should be arresting you lot right away. Why should we hand over any of our people to you?"

As the words dropped, the crowd roared angrily.

Seeing this scene, Ithel nervously glared at the people, who were so numerous that they outnumbered them twenty times over. Sweat began to trickle down his face.

Seeing this scene, Jake smiled and said, "no need for violence. You say I have wronged you. Why don't you tell them the truth that you robbed me and my benefactor. You even stole my horse, where's my white horse?"
