THE DISCUSSION

Caroline’s POV:

As we were riding the horse, I remembered the question Liam had asked me: "Why don't you go into the stable?" and I gave the best excuse I could come up with at the time, saying that I didn't like horses very much. While this is true, I actually had more than one reason: I didn't want one of the grooms to recognize me either. Usually, I tried to stay away from anyone who might recognize me, and one of the grooms would definitely do it. But now we were past that stage and we were riding forward fast. Well, it might be a lope for some, but for me, we were at full speed.

I liked the lake. I had come here a few times, it was a quiet place. The day was beautiful, so there was no reason to spend that time with Liam inside the castle and shrouded in its icy walls when there was so much to do outside.
