He looked at her with these big eyes and pouty lips like was a puppy being abandoned. He had Aurora against his chest and since she was that close she could see all the bruises on his face. It looked like he had a slight black eye. His nose had some blood on it and his cheekbone was swollen.
"I didn't think ok," he murmured. "I really didn't mean to. If I had thought about it then I would have stayed with you."
"Why'd you leave me then?"
"Because I saw one of my friends and well, I wanted to protect them. Make sure he was ok. It was a rough situation."
"Yeah, it was. And that was why you were supposed to protect me. Not him."

Many girls have been recovered from various locations, hideouts have been raided and more than three hundred people have been arrested.
