She is Awake

REGINA DRILLS

I opened my eyes but everywhere was dark.

I could feel a sharp burning pain on my eyes causing me to wince in pain.

"Miss Drills, You are awake." A gentle voice sounded as I heard footsteps coming closer to him.

"Why is everywhere so dark" I asked when I realized the problem.

I couldn't see a thing, I want to believe that is was night and that it is dark right now but I know that I couldn't decieve myself
