"Amora?" Collin asked nervously. "You're going to take these producers to visit that village in the forest, right? They could give you a lot of money."

Amora clenched her fists. She appreciated Collin's help. He seemed very earnest, even after she had forgotten him and disappointed him. This proved he was a good man.

But bringing Morgan and Khail wasn't that easy, especially when she had covered up a lot of things about Liam and the Blood Stone pack.

Getting pressure, she finally answered as best she could, "I'll try to talk to them." She grimaced awkwardly. "But I can't promise anything. They don’t want to get close to outsiders."

Morgan seemed to understand that, although Khail still seemed to want Amora to work something out. They were producers who had very different temperaments.

"I guess that makes sense," Morgan nodded, much to Amora's relief. "The inland tribes don't like interacting with outsiders. They're very secretive and sometimes even go wild when they see outsiders."
