After Sargent's outburst he left Arianna's room to go on a run, to clear his thoughts. 

'Mates are special', every wolf taught that from a very young age. Accept maybe for Sargent's mate, Ana thought. She was another story, but every wolf waited their entire life for their mate. The wolf won't be truly happy if they didn't find them and claim them.

Arianna trudged down the dirt  road a little further to find him. She trekked on through the forest beside the training ground, rounding up the hill towards the caves, which looked out onto Elamite's territory. Once Arianna reached the secret spot, she sat there for a moment in silence, overlooking the entire estate's land from where she sat. 

Their secret spot was high up on the cliffs, the caves were just below, across the river. Miles of the river was visible from this vantage point.
