Chapter 7 - Blood and Blonde

*Blair’s Point of View*

---

Whew! Thank goodness, I arrived in the classroom one minute early before the time.

I went straight to my seat at the back. Well, it's a good thing that you only have one classroom for all of your subjects, excluding P.E, because it should be at the gym, and also, laboratory sh*ts.

And as I sat on my chair, I glanced at the seat beside me. I just can't help myself to smile when I remembered what had happened during lunch break. I had so much fun.

---

The bell finally rang, and Marge came in. And almost all of the students are here already, but their queen seemed to be late. I'm so excited to see what will happen next.

Moments passed by, and Marge introduced herself.

“Good afternoon, class! I am Margarette Kendall, and I will be your Chemistry teacher for the whole school year. Some of you might know me already since most of you were my students last school year.” She paused, and suddenly, there's a knock on the door.

“Yes, come in!” Marge called, and there, at the door, stood a very gorgeous human.

She looked at me sharply and then turned her gaze to the teacher.

“I'm sorry, Miss Kendall, for being late.” She apologized, and I bowed my head down since I am afraid of bursting out of laughter at any time. She's late on the first day of class. Pfft. This is hilarious!

Marge stared at her like saying, 'and what is the consequence of being late?'.

Then she took a deep breath and said, “Yeah, the consequence.”

What consequence, though? Ooh, maybe that thing Marge told me that the latecomers will sing in front. This is so exciting.

“Mhmm, and why are you late, Miss Winsley?” Marge stated and patiently waited for her to answer.

“I went to the library to ask Mrs. Hart some things about the books that have arrived this morning. And as I made my way here, I passed by the Secretary's Office to sign some documents.” She answered, and Marge just nodded her head in response.

I fake-coughed to remind her that she forgot to tell some details about why she was late. And she seemed to get what I mean, and she glared at me. I just smiled my best and sweetest smile at her. Damn, I really love to annoy her.

“So... you're doing the consequence?” The teacher asked, and she seemed too nervous now, and then she said, “Yes, because I'm a student too, and to be fair to everybody.”

I could see that she's so anxious, and she keeps on glancing at me like saying, 'I will kill you later'.

“Pfft.” I held my laughter, and Marge cleared her throat.

Then I decided to raise my left hand. Note: the owner of this academy is still at the front deciding if she will sing or not. She's truly so fudging adorable.

“Yes, Blair,” Marge called, and I stood up to excuse myself.

Then I walk to the front and straight to where the glorious queen is standing while her face is confused about what I'm going to do. She is just so cute when she does that confused face of hers.

And instead of walking straight to her and bumping into her, I stopped as our bodies almost touched. I leaned near to her ear and whispered, “Maybe you can sing me a song next time, Babe.”

Then I continue to walk my way outside the classroom. She might have felt intimidated by me. And I don't know, but I don't want her to be uncomfortable, because I'm feeling suddenly uncomfortable, too.

A sigh escaped from my mouth as I closed the door, and I went straight to the ladies' restroom.

---

I looked at my reflection and thought to myself, 'why can't I stop smiling whenever I think of her and when she's near me?'. What does she possess to make me feel something strange in my system?

And how am I gonna tell her that the Clarkson Park thing was just a joke and just to scare her? Well, maybe I could figure that out later.

It's been three minutes since I left the classroom, and I decided to get back in.

And as I stepped inside, everybody stared at me, and I looked at Marge.

“Did I miss the biggest show of the year?” I asked everybody, and I could see that my seatmate was looking down at her table.

“Sit down, Blair, if you don't want me to make you sing here in front,” Marge told me while pointing at my seat.

“Well, maybe next time, Miss Kendall,” I uttered with my biggest smile then went straight to my seat beside the blushing girl.

Why is she blushing? Maybe she got the worst voice ever and she got embarrassed. And perhaps it's a big thing for her. But I don't think it's that bad.

I listened to Marge as she went on with her discussion. Damn, she will definitely ask me later what I have learned for today. This is one of the disadvantages if you are living with a teacher in the house.

---

The whole afternoon was passing by slowly and boringly.

I turned my head to look at the girl beside me, and she isn't taking down notes. She is just listening to the teacher's discussion intently. While I, on the other hand, had been scribbling something nobody could understand even me, to keep me distracted. I'm too tired to listen, and I don't wanna sleep.

Finally, the last period came, and I am currently making a tally of every minute that is to pass. And I could feel that my seatmate was shaking her head lightly as she looked at my work in my notebook. Why listen to the teacher and take notes or whatever when my brain and hands don't want to? I can't do anything about it if my ears don't want to listen.

And as the minutes slowly passed by, the bell finally rang and told everybody that it is time to go home, except for those who want to go to the tryouts of different sports and clubs. But for me? I will be going straight to my locker, grab my helmet, and go to the parking lot.

Well, this is one hell of a day. I had so much fun and wait...

Ah, fudge it! I forgot to tell her that the park thingy wasn't serious. But still, I will go home. She has said it herself that she won't be going to a place like that.

---

I arrived thirty minutes after five, and Marge will be home maybe after six because they will have a meeting with the other science teachers.

Then I went to the fridge and decided what I am going to eat since I am so freaking hungry.

My eyes locked to the small compartment of the fridge where my blood bags are placed. Well, it's been a week since the last time I drank blood because I rarely wish to be in my vampire form, so I took one bag and went to the couch to watch TV while sipping my favorite beverage—type AB blood.

I silently wished to be a vampire and my fangs grew out. I have two fangs up and two down, so I got a total of four. Some say that a vampire with four fangs is very rare, but I don't care.

I just can't stop wondering why my mom died and where's my father? Is he a vampire? And what is this necklace? Well, I do believe that witches are real, though, but I never really saw one. Maybe someday I will know something about them, and I could find my dad if he is still alive.

After drinking blood, I went to my room and changed my clothes. I put on a white T-shirt, a blue hoodie jacket, short shorts, and some sneakers.

Wait, why am I wearing clothes like this? Where am I going anyway?

Then I remembered that I'm going to stroll at the Clarkson park.

Wow, my body decides what I'm going to do before my mind could think about it. Isn't it cool?

Finally, I teleported to the place that I thought of, and I am already there quicker than a wink. They also say that vampires who can teleport are still rare, but I still don't care. I just don't have someone to tell me who my ancestors are or what does it mean if I have these kinds of abilities. And I am too lazy to find it out by myself.

---

I am standing under a lamppost that is struggling to light on or light off. And because I am so kind, I did not make the lamp suffer. I turned it off using telekinesis. Yeah, I am that powerful. And I could also levitate. Amazing, indeed!

The park seemed to be so scary and haunted, like the one you could see at the movies. So, I went to the entrance of the woods to sense if somebody's around because sometimes werewolves can be sneaky monsters.

But thankfully, there is nothing dangerous around here. There are just a few rabbits, snails, rats, and insects that I could feel. So far, this place is safe but still looks creepy.

---

I looked at my watch, and I saw that it's almost seven PM now.

Maybe the girl was too scared to go to a place like this.

7:05 pm: A white car stopped in front of the park while I am still here at the entrance of the woods and hiding behind some bushes to stalk who it is that has arrived.

Two minutes passed, and still, no one got out of the car. Three minutes, four minutes then five minutes.

Then the door went open, revealing a scared and nervous gorgeous blonde-haired girl. She is carrying something in her right hand but I can't figure out what it is.

She closed the door and walked a small distance from her car, and went near a bench to sit there.

“Maybe I was too early. Oh, God, help me!” She murmured to herself while her heart was beating so fast.

I can hear her because I got a super hearing. I told you, I am full of powers. And I can also see that she's too afraid and nervous.

What came into her mind when she went in here? Silly girl.

'Because you told her to, that you didn't tell her that you were just kidding, and then you find yourself asking why she went here?'

"Hey, conscience, is that you?" Fudge it! I'm talking to myself already.
