Under Control

After almost two hours, Nicole regained her strength to walk.

“This medicine is impressively working. I should invest in its manufacturer. I guess somehow that would lessen the market price if they have an adequate investor to fund their research,” Nicole murmured as she checked how she would feel every time she walked.

Mike was right next to her. He was ready to assist her; carry Nicole in his arms if needed. Mike heard her words clearly, although they were said softly, but he did not know what to say, so he kept silent. In his thoughts, rich people can really do a lot of things.

Besides, if Nicole wanted his opinion about the matter, she would not have said her words like she was thinking out loud, unaware that her thoughts slipped out of her lips as she thought about them deeply. So, Mike gathered Nicole was not waiting for any response from him, so he kept silent.
