Worried But Curious

Nicole’s POV

Ever since I got the call from Fhadz, I could not concentrate on my lessons, so I excused myself from my professors and left class earlier than usual. I didn’t know how to face Mac because I was somehow afraid to hear whatever he had to say. But I did not want to avoid him, either.

This is the first time Mac would meet Mike in person.

“I wonder how their meeting went….” I murmured as I sat in the backseat of my ride while my bodyguard-slash-driver was smoothly driving the vehicle from my school to home.
