Chapter 33

SYLVAIN

I brought two fingers to my temple and began messaging in small circles to alleviate the building tension. Only a few hours remained until sunrise and yet everyone still bickered about the rules and guidelines of the treaty. Quade, Lilith, and I gave our input where we could but the rest was left up to Julian, Sydney, and Tania to sort out. They constantly argued like children, never coming to a single agreement. Sometimes I felt they did things just to spite one another. If they couldn't agree on anything it worried me. Our fate lay in their hands and, right now, it didn't seem like very capable hands.

I was grateful they went along with my idea and no one tried to protest it. Julian had a right to have his reservations but I appreciated Quade having my back. He wasn't wrong when he said the mate bond was their best security measure against Tania. As another alpha, I also appreciated that he both respected and trusted me.

there's only about 10 chapters left and an epilogue before I start the last book which is Victor's. I know you all are excited for that one so stay tuned!

This was a really good chapter!! I love the way they all are interact together as members of the council and as mates. It was really super sweet of Quade to invite Tania into his Pack and to met her nephew Wolfe. Glad she wasn't offended with the crazy aunt remark from Quade :-)
