Chapter 38

“Go out?”

Hellion asked in disbelief. She was used to staying in the dark, isolated room and had no complaints or whatever but now Xegris suggested to go out? Hellion was deeply confused. It’s not like him to suddenly do something like this, even the past few days seems like a goddamn puzzle for her.

And the only question that she could never answer at all was, ‘Why is he being nice?’

Xegris nodded calmly and said to her. “The weather is nice today so we should take a stroll.”

Hellion silently stared at him for a moment. What’s wrong with him now? Hellion furrowed her brows as she stared at his deadpan face. As she was going to reject the offer, Xegris halted her.

“This rooms quite stuffy. Why don’t we get some nice air outside hm?”

Hellion just raised her brow and simply answered. “I guess.”

“Then let’s go.”

He then took her wrist as he pulled her towards the door. Hellion obediently followed him while looking at their joint hands with a blank expression on her face.
