Her brows furrowed and looked between me and the shower. The corner of her lip pulled down a fraction, just for a second. Not a full frown but I couldn't stop staring at her mouth now.

"Are you sure?" I pressed.

"Sidney, I....," she shook her head and inhaled, "I'm fine. Tired. Just tired." She was lying.

The tone of her voice had words lingering the air unspoken. She was holding back.

"Remember, Lia, I told you not to lie to me." My fingers tightened on the towel sitting low on my hips. They itched to punished her for not being honest with me.

"Ugh." She huffed and rolled her head dramatically with her eyes. "That was really nice Sidney. I'm not used to being treated like this. Normally when men use me, they leave as fast as they can afterwards."

"I saw an opportunity and I took it, but I'm not using you, Lia." As badly as I wanted to fuck her, I still saw her as a person.
