Chapter 59 - Blake Pierce

Blake POV

I open my eyes to find Emma sleeping softly next to me. Her mouth parted as she breathes through her mouth and as I look around the room, a flash of pain hits me in the head and I groan. Her eyes fly open and she sits up on the bed, jumping down and staring at me.

“Oh my God, you’re awake. How are you feeling? Do you need anything? I’ll call the doctor,” she says and I frown, not realizing I am in a hospital bed. I look around the room, not really moving my head because it hurts. Everything is white and the beeping sound from the machines confirms I am in the hospital.

“What happened?” I ask, as everything is very confusing in my head. I watch as Emma’s face loses her color, and she frowns, staring at me.

“You don’t remember?” She asks, and as I try to shake my head, I moan in pain again. My neck is stiff and hurt, my head is pounding, and my vision is a little blurry.
