“Oh, and Raphael?” She said. “This is going to sound crazy, but can I stay here tonight?” I grinned at her. “Of course you can, darling. You can stay here as long as you like.” I said back with a smirk. She exhaled a breath I wasn’t sure she realized she was holding.

“I’m sorry to intrude, but I just don’t want to go home yet. I’m still shaken up and I don’t feel ready to be alone just yet.” She said softly. She was looking down at her feet while she spoke to me and I couldn't help but wonder if she was embarrassed, or if she was still scared of me.

“You are never intruding on me, darling. I have a guest bedroom if you’d prefer to set up there. If not, you’re welcome to my bedroom and anything in it.” I said with a deep bow. I was trying not to cross any type of line. I wasn’t even sure where the line was to begin with. Especially now with her sudden age change.

“Do we need to go to your house to get your things?” I asked her. “Actually… Yes. I would love to work on my com
