Chapter 12

Cole's PoV

Sunday 27th January 2019

When I wake up the following morning, my head is resting on Nathan's chest and he has his arm wrapped around my torso. His scent is so nice on a morning, he smells like himself and not like sweat or a strong cologne. Instinctively I breathe in the lovely smell filling my nostrils. I even nuzzle my nose into the crook of his neck so I can get closer.

"Are you smelling me?" I hear as Nathan's chest rises and falls as he chuckles.

"You smell good," I mumble and make no effort to move. He laughs again and pulls me tighter to his body. It feels amazing to be like this with him, not a care in the world just peacefull cuddling. His hands rub small circles on my back and I can't help but sigh and smile.

"Your phone's ringing," he says as he hands me the device that sure enough, has Lacey's contact buzzing on the screen. I swipe across the screen and put her on speaker so I can still cuddle Nathan while talking.
