I am burning.

The fever is making my body too weak to even get up right now.

The mark on my neck itching and tingling.

To only make sudden waves of pain hit me every few minutes.

I clench the bedsheets in my fists.

Getting ready for another wave , stopping myself from scratching my neck and tearing my own skin.

It hurts.

The pain,the numbness,the burning. They all hurt but what hurts more are his words.

The words he said to my father while kissing my forehead and laid kisses down my neck , the deal he made with my father.

I was half unconscious when I heard him, not in a state to get up and scream at him,to stop him.

But I heard every word of him.

"What according to you is the true worth of your princess Zara?"

He has come to this? Was I am commodity to be exchanged like this? For their own benefits?
