Alex was in his office. With the curtains drawn, completely in dark he was sitting at his desk and his mind was at the limit. She is exhausted after we made love. That is what Adam told him.

His fated mate was back to her pack, with her husband while he was alone, boiling in fury and longing for her approach.

“He is lying.” Kenji says.

“But what if he is not. What if Natalie really slept with him.” He asks and only the thought makes him feel sick.

“She didn’t, man. Stop acting like this and trust our mate. Now that she is marked by us I would have felt if she was with that jerk. The connection between us would alert me if she is in trouble or she wouldn’t be loyal to our bond. But that didn’t happen so in my opinion Adam Hawkins lied.”
