CHAPTER THIRTY- NINE

Ethan’s POV

As I struggled to regain my composure, pain throbbing through my body, I locked eyes with Freda, her intense gaze piercing through me. The battle had begun in earnest, and her declaration echoed in my ears, fueling my determination.

"You won't come near her!" Freda growled fiercely, her voice laced with conviction. "I won't allow you to destroy everything we've fought for!"

A twisted smile crept across my face, a blend of defiance and arrogance. "Is that so, Freda?" I retorted, my voice dripping with disdain. "Let's see just how determined you are."

With renewed ferocity, I lunged at her, claws extended and fangs bared. Freda met my attack head-on, her movements fluid and calculated. Her strength was remarkable, her blows landing with precision. But I was no ordinary adversary, and I was fueled by a mix of anger and the remnants of my dark powers.
