The Meeting

Struck by her beauty as she stood there in the middle of the room, looking like a Greek goddess with my black satin sheets draped on her, I was stunned speechless for a minute.

I cleared my throat, “What are you looking for, Darina? A way to escape?” I smirked at her.

“I was looking for the dog.” She said, her chin lifted a little with that unmistakable defiance glittering in those grey eyes of hers.

I snorted. “There is no dog here, my little fox.” The damn wolf forced the transformation last night. We heard her crying on the other side of the door. He wanted me to go back to her, but I refused.
