13. Ravi Wasn't There Anymore

For the next many, several, days, Hari and Ravi would do the house chores very quickly and go for training. They would make sure that no one found out and Ravi made sure that he stayed out of his step mother's way so as to avoid any collisions with her. He knew that he wouldn't take any more abuse from her and he thus made sure to stay away. He didn't know how long he could pretend to be the Ravi whom they could bully as much as they wanted.

What he didn't want was for them to know that he was practicing and getting better at it. He knew that Hari wasn't a professional but he was doing his best to make sure that Ravi learnt everything he knew. Hari also knew that it would be just a matter of weeks, or even days, before Ravi surpassed him in matters combat. This was because Ravi was a fast learner and he had the will. And someone with a will would eventually find a way.
