23. It was Time

Ravi didn't know for how long he had cultivated. All he knew was that he felt good and happy. After that first lightning tribulation, he could now absorb mana more freely and it was like all the blockages in his meridians had been unblocked.

He also noticed that for the first time since he and Coal started arguing, Coal was strangely quiet. Ravi didn't mind at all. He figured that the wolf was thinking of how they would coexist without hurting each other.

"There you are," he heard Hari's voice and opened his eyes slowly.

"You promised not to do anything without me and look where you are now. You don't value me anymore now that you are strong, do you?" Hari accused and Ravi felt like a knife had been driven through his heart by the accusation and the pain on Hari's face.
