Miracle picked up Moon's scent. The perk of mating. She was joyous. She could feel him. I wondered if Moon alerted Alaric that I had invaded the Plateau already and he didn’t have to fetch me. It was a surprise.
“Don’t worry. Moon won’t let Alaric know. I told him not to.” I heard Miracle. Oh… she had been a good wolf today. Why won’t she? After all, she would get to Moon in some minutes. It’s been a few days. I knew how bad it could be to stay apart.
