The Shattered Dust Mountains

“Where to, Luna?” My thoughts were pushed back with Baspo asking me the destination. We were driving for the past two hours continuously. Baspo was alert. When I told him to leave The Samara Plateau, he didn’t even question and started the car.

But I had to let him know. I looked at the pendant in my hand. Its crystal was so beautiful. Royal and rich purple with a shining Moon inside. A soft smile made it to my lips. My mother would have been quite a beautiful lady. I didn’t remember her face.

“Baspo, do you know about The Blood Wind Valley?” I questioned Baspo and found his widened eyes fixated on me through the rearview mirror. He instantly applied brakes and the car came to a halt.

Baspo turned around with a surprised look on his face.

“Luna, are you sure?” He asked. I blankly nodded. I wasn’t sure, but I had to do it. It was my battle. I had to fight it.
