The Trials III

In the middle of that trial chaos, all of a sudden, my mind drifted to my love, my mate, my Viviana. It’s been a few days since I last saw her, loved her, hugged her, touched her, kissed her. I wasn’t shameful to admit that I longed for her scent. Moon took the front.

“We should talk to mate once. Miracle must be missing me too.” He was always ready for Miracle. Now that Moon had marked Miracle in our last love-making session, it was difficult for our wolves to stay apart. It was insane to let them stay separated. But Viviana demanded time. She needed five-ten days to sort everything before coming to me and my family. And I had to give her that.

Her words resurfaced in my mind.

“Alaric, find anything that you can about the Moon Goddess. There must be someone who knows something in your pack.”

I didn’t get to question her at that time, but I knew she was agitated. She was upset about her dreamy state.
