"I really don't know what is happening anymore." I mumbled at Mavis as I sat on her bed and played with my fingers, occasionally twirling random strands of hair around my finger.+

I huffed and fell back on the bed as Mavis sighed and sat upright looking down at me.

Damon had told them about where I had disappeared to for more than a week when I was with Jax. Thankfully, he didn't disclose too much of what happened.

Maybe because he himself didn't have the full play by play of what went down after I nabbed his car.

At the back of my mind I wondered if he knew that all my wounds were inflicted on me by Cassandra since I hadn't actually said it yet.

But then I remembered how she looked like when he brought her that day and how he'd ended her.

He knew. Definitely.

And if he didn't, I don't even want to imagine what he would have done.

Mavis came by the house a couple of times when I stopped answering my phone, which I left in Damon's Range when I stepped out to meet Cassandra.
