Arielle's Decision

Arielle’s POV:

I did not want to hear whatever he had just said to Ethan, but it was hard not to listen in.

Being a doctor has taught me many things, after all. And in my few years of practice, I have been able to find that it was a common way for doctors and nurses to keep their senses alert in order to be aware of what their patients might be doing in the next room or something. Unfortunately, while I had developed my senses as a wolf to serve my medical responsibilities to my patients, it also left me with a strange inability to stop myself from picking out certain things, like private conversions held within a radius of where I was.
