Third POV.

When Elana heard the question, she hurriedly turned around and her gaze fell on the bed.

Even though they had heard the question, they were afraid that Leila's darkness was the one pretending to be Leila hence they were more precautious.

On the other hand, when Josiah heard the voice, he let out a sigh of relief because the gods had heard his pleas and had mercy on him. However, he did not dare to look on the bed immediately cause he knew that both sisters were doubting him.

Josiah felt someone looking at his every move making him calm as he prepared to look up and see who it was. Looking up, he met Marcus' eyes.

Marcus' eyes had not left the old man even after Leila's voice was heard. To him, the old man was more doubtful. He had lived in the godly realm since he was a child hence he believed what he felt. If it were any other person, he would have already seen through them but in front of Josiah, it was like an opaque wall hitting back on him as he tried to enter the
