Calvin felt that he was nothing but a fucking mess because of his wolf, who wasn’t able to decide what exactly he wanted. Well, he couldn’t blame him entirely. He knew that he was also responsible for all the thing that was happening in his life.

Ethlyn’s plea for not to choose her when he was forced to was making him feel miserable. Earlier, he wanted to stay beside his mate; now, he wanted to stay beside Ethlyn.

He didn’t go near his mate just like Ethlyn wanted; he just couldn’t. But he realized that he would do the same with her, i.e., he would physically present near her and mentally near Ethlyn. He could sense that Ethlyn was in pain, but could he go near her and console her?
