Chapter Thirty-six

ELSA'S POV.

I couldn't take it anymore. The fear, the anxiety, the constant feeling of being trapped. It was suffocating me. As I got ready for dinner, I realized that I had been thinking about escaping for days now. I knew it was a dangerous idea, but the thought of being free was too enticing.

I wore my best dress and put on a fake smile as I made my way to the dining hall. The moment I entered, I saw Alpha Arthur sitting at the head of the table. My heart started racing, and I felt like running away.

As I sat at the dinner table, my mind was racing with thoughts of escape. But I tried to distract myself by focusing on the food that had been served before us. The aroma of the freshly roasted chicken filled my nostrils, making my mouth water. The skin of the chicken looked crispy and golden, and the meat looked juicy and tender. I picked up my fork and knife, ready to dig in.
