Four days spent finding a moment hidden away in the shadows of the palace halls just for the two of us between training, planning and preparing for the war that is to come. Chapter 30 - United I smile, watching Geminie spar with Mika as the Future Moon Goddess throws him over her shoulder, the male wolf landing with a loud thud onto the ground. Lace and I stand off to the side, drinking water as we watch the wolves from Bloodmoon, Astraea, Silver Crystal Crescent, Hidden Claws and the Royal Pack train with one another. Some are focusing on hand to hand combat, some human against wolves, and some fully in wolf form, their snarls filling the air while they rush to one another in a mix of fangs and claws. It amazes me with how easily each wolf was able to handle the change in training after the four packs came to help in the war four days ago. Chapter 32 – The Dawn of War Standing in the thrown room, a white suit with a white cape draped over my shoulders, I look outside the window as worry settles in. The stars are still out but as soon as the sun rises, all the moon flowers will bloom and the final battle in this war will begin. “You okay Darling?” Albot asks, walking forward with a mug of what smells like to be peppermint tea in his hand. Chapter 33 – The Final Battle The sounds of muffled footsteps behind me both in wolf and fur form reminds me that the final battle is only moments away. The sky is fading from the indigo of night to a darker blue with hues of red, purple and pinks on the horizon. I smile, already seeing how great a King Albot makes. Once this war is over, I can plan his coronation and then together we can plan a wedding. I think back to the first time I met my father, watching the scene of my adoptive mother finding me in this verry field as well as the memories I have of the two of us running around and picking these flowers to decorate the palace halls. Chapter 34 – Coro’s End The Trackers quickly descend from the trees surrounding the meadow, their agile bodies making quick work in slicing open their unsuspecting targes throat before they move on to the next. The hunters have paired up with a Royal Soldier, taking turns in attacking and defending the other as piles of dead Rogues fall to the ground. All around me are furs of various colours. At one point I caught sight of Amberle's fire coloured wolf and Dominic's ice coloured wolve rip apart a black Soulless before they disappear once again. I know my white fur is an easier target as I dodge and fight off multiple Soulless at a time. I find myself in an endless cycle of dodge, claw, bite, kill and retreat while leaving a trail of dead Soulless in my wake. My muzzle is now stained black by the foul blood of the decaying wolves but sadly I have grown used to the stench after an hour had passed in the battle. Witches began popping in and
