FEW MOMENTS LATER
The battle got tougher and everywhere was bloody mess. The arm in which I was using to wield my sword started feeling heavier so I threw away the sword, and decided to use my bare claws, and yet I still spent more time than I would have liked before I killed an enemy.
A dread cuddled up within me, but I ignored it, focusing instead on my anger. Anger was good – anger was what I understood, what I saw each day when I looked into the mirror and each time I looked at my father, Alpha Ambrose.
What would become of me if I lost this war? If I did not bring the head of the leader of these rebels to my father in a spike as I had promised. My father would kill me. The ruthless Alpha would have no reason to respect me anymore or to believe me. He would forever treat me like a little wimp and I wouldn't want that to happen.
"Blast it! Why does he treat me this way??!! I was his only son! His only living heir!" I shouted in rage as I grabbed an enemy closest to me and hooked my claws into his throat, watching him crumble to my feet as I drew them out slowly. Damn it!! I didn’t have much time! The enemy was everywhere, I mean literally everywhere. I needed to get to their leader so I could stop the bloody bastards.
An evil thought came into my mind that made me grin wicjedly. I walked up to a distance and snatched up the an Omega that I could find closest to me. The lad looked up at me with the adoration they always reserved for an Alpha blood. “A..re we go..ing somewhere boss?” he stammered as he asked.
“Yes we are indeed going somewhere!” I snapped at him. “You had better keep your mouth shut, or I promise that your death would be a lot more painful."
The Omega looked at me in surprise, but he didn't struggle with me, he seemed to trust me – if only he knew what I had in mind!
I drew him out towards a clearing that was less rowdy, a place where we could see the moon clearly. The Omega was beginning to struggle with me as he sensed that something was off.
I pinned him down on the ground with my claws and slit the side of his arm. “I seek entry to the moon goddess! I pay with the power of he that belongs to me.” I yelled and looked up to the moon.
The young lad’s hand slackened in mine as his power flowed out of him, and then suddenly the moon became far brighter than it was.
“What is that which you seek?” A voice like a lover's caress whispered around me.
“Do you wish to buy the love of a female?Do you want to bind her to you so that she would love you forever, though she would not be your mate?” The voice whispered again, and unwittingly, the image of Eva in all her beauty came to my mind.
The feel of her soft lips against mine. Eva was shy, yet demanding, innocent and yet erotic. Her arms as she held me close, making me want more – but then she had never allowed me to cross the line, always saying she was keeping herself for the night of our mating ceremony, when she was truly mine.
I noticed that the moon had begun to fade to its original shade, and I snapped out of my stupidity. “The scent!” I shouted to the fading moon. “I want the scent of the leader of the warriors who attacked my pack.” I shouted again.
“It is granted to you.” I heard the same soft voice whisper, only it sounded very faint now. I waited until the strong scent of a male Werewolf, an Alpha filled my lungs before I let go of the whimpering Omega. I had sacrificed his wolf to the moon goddess. He was going to be without a wolf now, just like a certain female I know – a female I wanted so badly to fvck at the moment.
I turned my back on the battle as I followed the scent of my enemy – at least, this was the enemy that mattered. I half wondered why the scent was so familiar, and perhaps if I had paid more attention to the scent, the next few minutes of my life would have made more sense.
An enemy jumped at me with his claws bared, screaming as he fought with me. He was a beta, and fighting him off was not very easy, until finally I ripped him apart. Maybe it was sheer boredom, or maybe I was simply happy that I now had the scent of my enemy, but I bent down to inspect the body, that was when I saw the T-shirt he wore underneath his black cloak. It had the Bahki emblem.
"Oh my goodness!! He was from Eva’s pack!!" I exclaimed. Someone in Eva’s pack, probably her father, had masterminded an attack against what my pack. Whoever that person was, he was going to pay with his head in a spike – and it was probably Eva’s father but I didn't care to know.
The perverse side of me wanted to see her in pain, watch her cry as she watched me kill her father. Perhaps then, she would let me go all the way. Maybe then, she would understand the power I had over her. She would be completely at my mercy then.
Maybe then, I’d take over her entire pack, make her my slave, keep her chained to my bed and take my frustrations out on her flesh anytime my Father Alpha Ambrose annoyed me.
Eva was going to regret the day her father messed with me and my father, I would make sure of it. I vowed to make Eva's father pay.
EVA'S POVI was really anxious about the ongoing battle. I couldn't sleep because the clashing metals and howling of werewolves everywhere were causing a great deal of noise and ruining the calm that was once in my hometown. I didn't know how I was going to end this battle before it would cause something bad to happen. I could lose my father or the love of my life in this battle and it scared me. "What should I do now? How can I stop it?" Those were the questions I kept asking myself as my anxiety level increased.I paced around my room anxiously, walking from one corner of the room to another. Anyone who saw me would think that I was exercising my legs but I wasn't, I was too lazy to do any sort of exercise – I would prefer to sleep. Anyways, as I paced about my room I was hoping that I would magically get a solution to stop the war but no idea came into my thick skull. "Damn it!! Damn it!! I shouted in frustration as I hit my head with both of my hands.Too many thoughts raced throu
AFTER A FEW MINUTESWe arrived at the door of the tower room after going through numerous tunnels. My father's palace or should I say mansion was big – in fact, big was an understatement, enormous was the right word to describe the mansion. There were so many places inside the mansion that I have never been to in my 19 years of living there. There were places that I didn't even know existed. The tower room, for example, I've heard about it from my mother one certain time when she was telling me a story about how she and my father would sneak in there to do teenage love stuff when they were younger and hadn't gotten married to each other yet. Yeah, I know what you are thinking but my mother is like that, she liked to reminisce about the time when she was younger to me because according to her I could learn from her mistakes so she never missed a chance to tell me her story. The young maiden knocked on the door and whispered, "Open up the door. I am here with Alpha's daughter."Someone,
ALPHA'S JACK POVIt was a brutal battle – It was one hell of a tough battle. It was the first time in a very long time that I had witnessed anything like it. The whole action thrilled me, but witnessing several members of my pack die did not.The enemy were approaching my mansion like swarms of bees, increasing in number instead of decreasing. They were powerful and furious; the fury within them made them stronger and more determined to conquer.I was trying to finish off a Beta Werewolf when all of a sudden an Alpha jumped over the fence and pounced on me, digging into my shoulders with his sharp claws and I winced in pain. "Impressive for a guy like him." I thought to myself and ripped the Beta's throat so that I could face this guy who thinks he can beat him – he has no idea that he just messed with the wrong guy.He let go of me and looked into my eyes with a smile on his face. The asshole was smiling!! Can you imagine this guy? How can he smile when he's about to die??I hated ho
ADRIAN'S POV"I must find whoever owns this scent!! I won't stop until I find him so that I can fulfill my promise to my annoying father!!" I muttered to myself as I continued to follow the strong scent given to me by the moon goddess. The night was dark and cold. The war was still ongoing and more Werewolves were being massacred. Some Werewolves had their head ripped off from their neck while others had their chests torn apart with their hearts ripped out. Everywhere was a bloody mess and the scent of blood was strong in the night wind.I was tired of fighting with young lads or should I call them servants? To me, any Werewolf that isn't an Alpha or a Beta is just a mere servant and they disgust me. You can call it pride or whatever – I don't care. I craved to face the real deal, the leader, the one who ordered the attack on my pack, the one who made my father insult me. I touched my face as I remembered how my father struck me on the face with his claws, leaving four gaping red line
ADRIAN'S POVThe ignorant fool attacked me from behind and sank his claws into both of my shoulders. I clutched my shoulders and groaned in pain – I immediately regretted the decision I took to wait until he attacked me first. I should have attacked first, and now I am paying the price. I stood up straight and stopped whimpering like a baby.I'll take my time to deal with this fool because I needed to burn off some steam – thinking about Eva had made me furious. I swiftly turned to face the guy who attacked me and I laughed when I saw the face of who just attacked me. Guess what – it was an Omega!! Can you imagine it? A mere Omega?? Where did his loyalty to Alphas go? Was he crazy?? The more I thought about it the more it made me laugh and I couldn't stop myself. The young lad just stood there and stared at me in a confused state. I'm sure that he was wondering why I was laughing so hard. I shook my head from side to side whilst grinning. I pitied the young lad but to my greatest surp
ADRIAN'S POV I was utterly shocked when I saw Eva walk out the tower room – she was the last person that I was expecting to see at that time. My eyes widened, I thought I was hallucinating so I used both my hands to rub my eyes but she was still standing there — it was real, I wasn't hallucinating. Trust me to flub – in less than five minutes I had already forgotten the promise I made to myself about not letting Eva distract me. I recalled all the silly thoughts I had in my head concerning her and I was losing it. Looking at her lips without not being to taste them was driving me nuts and causing my heartbeat to accelerate. "Adrian?? What are you doing here??" Eva called out and jolted me back to reality. Thank goodness she said something otherwise I would have started to drool because of how I kept my mouth agape, staring at her. I closed my mouth but I didn't look away – I couldn't stop staring at her. I didn't answer her because so many thoughts were running through my head at t
ALPHA JACK'S POVAdrenaline coursed through my veins as I ran as fast as I could to the tower room. Keeping my breathing steady, I pushed harder and went faster – if anything were to happen to Eva, I would never forgive myself. I tried to get there faster but I was being delayed by warriors who wouldn't just let me be. I fought several enemies on my way though I made sure to brutally end their life without wasting much time.Facing forward, I began to sprint again. Honestly, I was running so fast that I thought my legs were going to explode. When I eventually got to the tunnel leading to the tower room, I stopped for a while to catch my breath – running and fighting at the time wasn't as easy as I thought and my age was beginning to tell on me.I huffed and puffed as I leaned on the wall for support – I had not run this fast for a very long time. As I was still trying to catch my breath and regain control, I heard someone scream out in pain. "Eva??!!" I abruptly stood up and called ou
ADRIAN'S POVThe weather was extremely cold that morning. I got up at five a.m. not because I wanted to but because I had to. I'm not a morning person so I hated waking up early – I don't do early at all. I stretched my body and yawned, then I stood up from the armchair I had slept in and went out for a small walk to stretch my legs because my legs were cramped up.As I stepped out of Eva's house, I began to shiver with cold because an extremely cold wind was blowing – the cold was piercing. My hands and feet were numbed with cold. My nose began to run and my ears were as cold as ice. I was chilled to the marrow and my legs became stiff and cold. I changed my mind about taking a walk and went back inside.I had spent my night at Eva's house. After all that happened last night, I couldn't go back home and I also couldn't fulfil the promise I had made to my father. Damn, I'm sure that he would be feeling very disappointed in me. The old man would say that he was right, that I wasn't rea
