The ritual was attended by several werewolves in the pack. Some males put the dead animals in the fire as offering while the other packmates howl incessantly to the peeking moon. They look like they were calling for the Moon Goddess herself.
The savory scent of the roasting meat of the offerings wafted strongly in the surrounding air. The wind carried up the smoke to the sky. And as if the moon had smell its palatable aroma, it appeared from behind the clouds at its brightest glory.
It was an ominous sight for the werewolves. They believe the Moon Goddess accepted their offerings and they howl louder and jovial even more. Everybody participated on the ceremony.
