Chapter One Hundred Six

I felt weakened. The poison of the wolfbane that gathered on the back of my wolf body was making me losing my grip on my flickering sense of consciousness. There’s a limit for everything, I believe religiously. A small amount of the lethal poison would be manageable for me, but my perpetrators must have been ever so generous on pouring a dangerous amount of wolfbane on me. The intention was evident. He truly and fatefully wanted me dead!

Maziar Brennan! He was the only one who would stoop down to this level of trickery. He spared not a second of doubt in his resolve to get rid of me. The trap he successfully concealed below the ground was worth an applause of the crowd. I myself did not even thought it would be possible, or shall I say, I was too consumed by my desire to get a hold of that traitor that I failed to think things over and fell exactly and miserably on such traditional and old fashioned trap.
