Chapter Twenty-Six
Narrator's POV
Aswang. Nobody has heard of them before. Unlike various shape-shifting evil creatures such as werewolves, vampires, and ghouls, these monsters are not well known in the world.
Rumors had it that they only exist in this particular locale, the fast-rising third world country of Leverland which was true at least some hundred years ago. Little did the world knew, they were slowly but surely spreading to different parts of the globe.
They are a mixture of bloodsuckers like vampires, flesh-eating beasts like ghouls, and shape-shifters like werewolves. They look like normal humans during the day.

They were running so fast she was seeing blurred images of the path they were taking on. The falling snowflakes made it even harder for her to open hey eyes as it keeps hitting her on the face. Although the wolf's body was warm, it wasnât enough to save Allyssa from the menacing torture of the ice-cold climate. She was still a human. She gazed at least to the point of seeing genuine care on the brownish orbs of her lady savior. âCall me Marina. Good to finally meet you Allyssa!â, her voice that was sweet and gentle made Allyssa more resentful of her. Allyssa's voice had always been powerful and loud. Even when she had just been whispering, it would sound like thunder to those whoâs hearing her for the first time.
