“I'm so happy for you.” Laura replied, when she was done screaming loudly.

“Well, it's nothing serious.”

“What do you mean? Tell me about it. Where is he from? Where does he live? Who is he? I want to know everything.”

The only reason Laura let me go was because I had convinced her that I would tell her everything on the way to Shadowcrest. We decide to leave the next day, very early morning so we wouldn't draw attention to ourselves.

I left her place to go see Thorne. I didn't tell Laura that I was going to see my mate or she wouldn't let me go alone. I had to find out why Lucas was with the letter I had given to him to hand to Mascot.
