Chapter 24 - Kurt

I didn’t even know how to begin to describe what I felt at first. It was this little click, like a tiny door opened in my head. And I could hear a little voice talking. I wouldn’t have overthought about it if that little voice hadn’t said ‘Noya.’ 

In that instant, my entire body froze as I felt that little door try to crack open further. I don’t know how it’s possible. Someone had a link to me that shouldn’t, and they are in the Syndicate.

It makes no sense. Siegfried is dead. I watched his fucking corpse burn. I threw him into the pile myself, and I didn’t leave till every bit of him was ashes.

I could faintly hear Isis talking to me. I could feel her touch and the sparks from it. But I couldn’t react. I was just frozen. Frozen in fear.

The Syndicate has a way into my head. Oh crap this means they have a way into Isis’s head! The Syndicate knows we’re mated.
